Mews Cottage is an enchanting 3 bedroom (sleeping 5) well equipped home, with spectacular views of the fabulous Georgian spa city of Bath.
With its stylish decor and the whole cottage to yourself, this amazing little hideaway will make your stay in Bath a pleasant dream.
The cottage is just a 5 minute walk from local amenities and a pleasant 1.3 mile walk away from the centre, walking down the hills and along the cobbled stones that make Bath unique.
Being away from the city centre means that you will have a private parking space on the drive in front of our home (see note below), a delightful sunny garden and peace and quiet. **(Please note, the garden is currently undergoing renovation. You are still welcome to use the outside seating)**
A large double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a single bedroom. The single bedroom has a “Captains” bed- it is quite high (approximately 3ft) from the floor, and slightly shorter than a normal single bed, but very comfortable!
The twin bedroom and bathroom are all on the ground floor, along with the master bedroom, and its entrance to the garden.
The lounge, kitchen and single bedroom are all upstairs, making Mews Cottage a unique upside down home. This results in great views from the lounge windows.
The kitchen is fully equipped, with a dishwasher, washing machine, oven and hob, under counter fridge with a small freezer box, microwave, toaster, kettle and more.
All bed linen and towels are provided.
We have tried our best to provide you with all the amenities you will need for a very pleasant break.
Parking;
You will need a car with good ground clearance to park on the driveway, due to the slope. Please note that not all cars will be able to access the private driveway due to the need for good ground clearance.
If you can’t get your car onto the driveway you will need to park in the nearby Morrison’s for £8/day, or 5 minutes walk away towards Larkhall for free.
Guests have access to the whole cottage including the private garden and the private parking space.
Mews Cottage is a naturally warm and comfortable house and the maximum temperature for the lounge can be set at up to 24.5 degrees C, which should be warm enough for anyone. If you wish it to be warmer than this then I may ask you for a contribution to the heating costs
